The challenge: scaling beyond the mobile MVP

Fundpath began with a vision to put “data on-the-go” into the hands of consultants. However, as a bootstrapped startup, they faced the classic “scaling wall”: limited resources, the need for rapid evolution to meet market demands, and the requirement for operational resilience.

When we met the founders, they didn’t have a map. They had a destination.

The dream was simple. Put the entire investment market into a consultant’s pocket. But dreams are heavy. To carry that much data without breaking, you don’t just need a mobile app. You need an ecosystem.

We sat down and drew the blueprint. We didn’t just talk about code; we talked about value. How do you take a mountain of data and make it profitable? How do you turn a “service” into a “SaaS”?

We architected a tiered world. A place where information flows differently depending on who you are and what you need to achieve. We built the engine that turned a bootstrapped vision into a scalable, fundable, and unstoppable business reality.

2. User-Centric “Lifestyle” Design

To drive adoption in a sector dominated by clunky CRMs, we took inspiration from popular lifestyle apps. We focused on ease of navigation and daily tasks, ensuring that the complex data in the app felt intuitive to a user on the move.

3. Engineering the “Intelligence Hub”

We utilised APIs to aggregate real-time data and built an automation engine to eliminate operational bottlenecks. This allowed the platform to scale from a simple directory to a proactive tool that predicts Asset Allocation Intentions.

The road ahead: Swiss expansion & global scaling

The next architectural challenge is localization and jurisdiction. We are currently preparing the platform for the Swiss market launch (projected before June 1st), which involves complex legal and data adaptation.

Jurisdiction Logic: Updating the backend to handle market-specific regulations.
UI Adaptation: Ensuring social and visual data remains relevant across different global cultures as we look toward the US and Asia.
